A Fusion of History and Modernity
Located in the oldest part of the 19th-century building, the Wine & Tapas Bar is nestled in the basement, exuding an inviting and historical ambience. The challenge was to blend the preserved brick vaulted ceilings with modern wine dispensers for elite wine tastings.
Design Features
Historic Charm: The walls were finished using an ancient plastering technique, and the brick walls and vaults were carefully cleaned and exposed to highlight their historical significance.
Inviting Atmosphere: The fireplace serves as the centrepiece, creating a warm and cosy environment for guests to enjoy an evening with a glass of wine.
Custom Lighting: Special chandeliers designed by Estonian lighting designer Tarmo Luisk add a touch of elegance and uniqueness to the space.
Bespoke Furniture: Most of the furniture pieces were custom-designed by Tatjana Jakobson for this project and crafted by Estonian manufacturers.
Guest Experience
The Wine & Tapas Bar at Hotel Lembitu has quickly become a favourite spot for guests looking to spend a cosy evening in a charming and sophisticated setting. The combination of historic elements and modern amenities offers a unique experience that invites relaxation and indulgence.
